Irene (born in 1971, studied German literature, previously working as PR-Consultant) and me (Gregor, born in 1966, Geographer, working as product manager hotel-reservation-systems before the trip) went off get a break from daily working routine to get used to daily travel routine. We believe, that one’s hobby should become one’s profession. That is, why we wanted to intensivate the knowledge about our hobby ‘travelling’.

Meanwhile (status 2009) Irene works for the ‘Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit’ (GTZ - German Development Aid) and Gregor joined Jeppesen GmbH (Navigation Service Provider).
